Nissum Fjord Camping
Nissum Fjord Camping is a perfect starting point for you who like the very varied nature found in West Jutland., With 1.5 km. To the North Sea and 500 m to Husby dune plantation, swimming and hiking holidays are within reach. Furthermore, there are more than 16 km. riding trails in the area, several small harbors and an exquisite fishing environment.
Nissum Fjord Camping has most modern facilities such as playgrounds, bonfires, football field, petanque, outdoor swimming pool, wireless internet, common room, cabins and rooms, bicycle rental etc. The service buildings are well maintained and always cleaned. The site has 200 units for caravans, motorhomes and tents. 50 of the places are reserved for permanent residents who are both Danish and German.
The campsite is owned and operated by Michael Plauborg and Vera, who emphasize peace and quiet as well as the beautiful untouched nature that Nissum Fjord Camping is surrounded by. In 2017, Michael bought the campsite as a tradesman offer, and since then he has renovated the site up to a standard which last year was awarded with 3 official stars.

THE AREA AT NISSUM FJORD CAMPING
The campsite is surrounded by beautiful and untouched nature. Within 2 km. lies Husby Klitplantage, the North Sea, Nissum Fjord and several small and cozy harbours.
Husby Klitplantage
Husby Klitplantage is just 500 meters from the campsite. The plantation is untouched but accessible to all and ideal for a walk or bike ride.
North Sea
The beautiful unspoilt coast is close to the campsite. Here you will find wandering dune bunkers and here it is possible to find amber.
Nissum Fjord
The fjord is 800 meters from the campsite. here you will find several small and cozy harbours, a surf course and a rich wildlife.
Farm shops
In the area you will find several farm shops. Here you can buy fresh local produce, specialties and gift items.
Forest playground
The large forest playground is close to the campsite and there is plenty of opportunity for an active day for the whole family
